The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, Dr Oluwole Oluyede, on Saturday unveiled his vision for inclusive governance ahead of the June 20 election.
Oluyede, who spoke with journalists in Ikere Ekiti, said his ambition was driven by the desire to improve the living conditions of residents, especially ordinary citizens.
“My ambition is for the generality of Ekiti State. Governance under my watch will be designed to deliver real impact across communities,” he said.
In light of the forthcoming poll, the Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled June 20 for the governorship election, with candidates from 13 political parties expected to participate.
Oluyede said his administration would prioritise people-oriented policies aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of the populace.
“Our government will operate a seamless administrative structure where all arms and levels of government work in synergy to achieve clearly defined developmental objectives,” he stated.
In his address, he also assured that no segment of society would be sidelined, promising policies that cut across all social and economic classes.
“My priority is the betterment of every common Ekiti person. No group will be marginalised under my leadership,” he added.
