Peter Obi visits P-Square brothers amid family feud

By Tosin Brown
Former presidential aspirant Peter Obi recently visited the P-Square brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, amid the ongoing conflict within their family business. Obi, who has long been influential in the lives of the twins and their elder brother Jude, made the visit as tensions escalated within the family.
The visit follows reports that the brothers had become embroiled in a legal dispute involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Paul Okoye accused his brother Peter of orchestrating his arrest by the EFCC. However, Peter denied reporting Paul to the agency, though he did confirm that he had petitioned the EFCC to investigate their older brother Jude. Peter alleged that Jude had diverted millions of dollars from their joint account into a secret company.
While details of Obi’s discussions with the brothers remain unclear, his visit took place between Tuesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 15.
On Tuesday, Paul Okoye shared photos and a video on Instagram showing Obi at his residence alongside Jude and Jude’s wife, Ify Okoye. In the post, Paul expressed gratitude to the politician for his visit, writing, “Thank you very much and God bless you sir P.O @peterobigregory #yourexcellency.”
Obi also visited Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, on Thursday, August 15, further demonstrating his commitment to resolving the family feud.
