PHOTO NEWS: APC issues certificates of return to newly elected NWC members

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday presented certificates of return to members of its newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The ceremony was led by Aminu Masari, chairman of the 2026 APC national convention election sub-committee and the national convention central coordination committee.

He was joined by Mai Mala Buni, governor of Yobe State, and Yakubu Dogara, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, who also serve as leaders of the central coordination committee.
Certificates were handed to APC national chairman Nentawe Yilwatda and other returning and newly elected members of the NWC.
The leadership team includes Ali Dalori and Benjamin Obi Nwoye as deputy national chairmen for the North and South respectively, with Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru serving as national secretary. The committee also features vice-chairmen representing all six geopolitical zones, a national legal adviser, treasurer, financial secretary, organising and welfare secretaries, publicity secretary, auditor, as well as national leaders for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.


Deputy positions were also confirmed, alongside the announcement of ex-officio members representing the six zones. Among those recognized were Opawoye Bunmi for the North-Central, Adamu Jallah for the North-East, Kano Yusuf for the North-West, Ikechukwu Umeh for the South-East, Francis Kolokolo for the South-South, and Bunmi Orinowo for the South-West.
