PHOTO NEWS: Atiku closes case at Election Petition Tribunal, receives lead counsel

Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25th, 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar has closed his petition at the Court of Appeal after calling 25 witnesses out of the 100 he initially lined up.

The former number two citizen of Nigeria formally closed his case on Friday. Immediately after the court session, his lead counsel, Chief Chris Uche led other team members on a visit to his Abuja residence.

The PDP presidential candidate wrote Friday evening via his social media handles: “This afternoon, I received in audience my lead counsel in the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Chief Chris Uche, SAN, who came to brief me on the status of our litigation of the February 25 presidential election.”
