PHOTO NEWS: Fayemi unveils agenda for Nigeria, set to become president

Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on Wednesday at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja declared to run for next year’s presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He used the occasion to also unveil what he called his Agenda for Nigeria, a development blueprint he will use to run the country.
He was accompanied to the event by his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi and Ekiti State traditional rulers. Most of the attendees at the declaration event are Ekiti State senior government officials, political appointees and APC leaders from the state. No notable national political figure attended the event.
Governor Fayemi in the last few weeks embarked on nationwide political consultation across the country and according to his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, the now presidential aspirant visited 34 states of the federation where he met traditional rulers, politicians and religious leaders.
