PHOTO NEWS: FG celebrates Civil Service Week with fitness game

The Federal Government through the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation on Saturday embarked on a fitness game as part of the activities for the Civil Service Week.

Writing through his social media, Minister of Sports Development, John Owan Enoh commended the Head of Service for the initiative.

He wrote:
“I was so pleased to join the Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, the Accountant-General of the Federation, Dr. Mrs Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein, Permanent Secretaries and Directors of the various Federal Ministries to flag off the Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA) routine exercise for the commencement of, and preparation for the 2024 FEPSGA Games which marks the 2024 Civil Service Week celebration , billed to commence from Monday, the 24th of June, 2024.

“This event reiterates the need for every individual to imbibe physical fitness into their lifestyle. There will be better and increased productivity in our country if we have a fit and healthy workforce. We should be physically fit first for ourselves and by extension our society.”
