PHOTO NEWS: Hamzat, Opadokun, Ozakhome lay wreath on MKO Abiola’s grave

Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, NADECO chieftain and former Secretary of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Opadokun and Chief Mike Ozakhome, SAN joined other activists to celebrate the June 12 anniversary in Lagos on Monday.

Dr. Hamzat represented Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at a June 12 memorial event organised by Alliance for Yoruba Democratic Movement which was also attended by Abiola’s first child, Mrs. Lola Edewor and later joined others to visit MKO graveside at his residence off Toyin Street in Ikeja.

Hamzat wrote on his social media handles:

“Today, I represented MG @jidesanwoolu and delivered a keynote speech at the event celebrating the 30th Anniversary of June 12, 1993 election organized by Alliance for Yoruba Democratic Movement.

“I also visited and laid a wreath at the graveside of Late Chief MKO Abiola.”
