PHOTO NEWS: In first outing after exit, Edun hosts Hamzat at Ikoyi residence

Former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, on Saturday made his first public appearance in Lagos after leaving the administration of President Bola Tinubu, receiving the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, at his Ikoyi residence.

Edun was recently relieved of his ministerial duties earlier in the week, following a cabinet reshuffle.

Hamzat, who is a leading aspirant for the Lagos governorship seat, has in recent weeks intensified consultations with political leaders within the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the state ahead of the party’s primary election.
