PHOTO NEWS: Makinde leads Oyo State exco in special session honouring Olunloyo

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Thursday led members of the state executive council in a special session to bid farewell to former Governor Victor Omololu Olunloyo.

Olunloyo, an accomplished academic, was the second elected governor of the state. He assumed office in 1983, but his tenure was cut short by the military coup that brought General Muhammadu Buhari to power.

He had earlier served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the Western Region government led by General Adeyinka Adebayo.
