PHOTO NEWS: Progressive Governors hold regional meeting, pay homage to Oba of Benin
Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday held their regional meeting in Benin City, Edo State, with Governor Monday Okpebholo serving as host.
As part of their visit, the governors paid homage to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, at his palace.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma. The governors deliberated on party affairs, the state of the national economy, and security challenges. They also reaffirmed their support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
In attendance were Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Umaru Bago (Niger), among others.
