Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was the Special Guest at the 9th edition of Art X Lagos VIP Opening Night held on Saturday evening at the Federal Palace Hotel, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Governor, a lover of the arts, has attended every edition of the annual art exhibition, as well as many other art-related gatherings, since he assumed office as Governor of Lagos State.
His attendance reflects the State’s commitment to promoting visual and theater arts, celebrating creative arts as a source of inspiration and connection with African heritage, and recognizing its potential for revenue generation.
Sanwo-Olu was joined by his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde, retired Stanbic IBTC Bank Chairman Atedo Peterside, and other industry leaders.
