President Bola Tinubu arrived in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on Saturday to attend the eighth-day Fidau prayer in honour of the late Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
The President was warmly received by Governor Dapo Abiodun, traditional rulers, and other dignitaries at the prayer event, which drew prominent figures from across the country.
The solemn ceremony, held in accordance with Islamic rites, marked eight days since the passing of the revered monarch, one of Nigeria’s longest-serving traditional rulers.
