PHOTO NEWS: Tinubu lights Unity Torch ahead of National Sports Festival

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday flagged off the movement of the Torch of Unity ahead of the 22nd National Sports Festival (Gateway Games Ogun State 2025).
The event is scheduled to be held from May 16 to May 30, 2025.
Tinubu lit the torch at the forecourt of the State House, Abuja, at about 2:15 p.m. when he received a delegation from the National Sports Commission.
The ceremony was attended by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, whose state is set to host the national games. Also present was former Ogun State Governor Olusegun Osoba.
Other dignitaries at the event included the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko; former Ogun State Governor Segun Osoba; President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, who participated in the official flag-off of the Torch of Unity for the 22nd National Sports Festival.
