WESTERN POST reports that all is set for the epoch-making coronation of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ladoja, is all revved up and in top gear to host all the high-profile dignitaries from all over the country and beyond.
For weeks, the new Olubadan’s Ondo Street, Bodija, Ibadan, residence has remained a Mecca of sorts as dignitaries pay courtesy visits from far and near.
WESTERN POST correspondent, Gbenga Adejayan, reports that Mapo Hall, the venue of the event, is already agog and ready to play host to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and other important personalities, many of whom are already in town.
Most hotels in the Ibadan metropolis are already fully booked as congratulatory messages in banners and billboards adorn every available space in the ancient city, a testament to the magnitude of love and support for the new Olubadan, His Imperial Majesty, Senator Oba Rasheed Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja.
