The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two suspects and recovered a stolen motorcycle in Ogbese, Akure North Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ayanlade Olayinka Olushola, said the arrests were made following credible intelligence from community-based security volunteers, who reported two individuals found in possession of a TVS motorcycle suspected to have been stolen.

According to the statement, the suspects were intercepted after they failed to provide proof of ownership of the motorcycle.

They were identified as Aduku Moses and Kunle Agboola.

Upon interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to stealing the motorcycle in Ekiti State and transporting it to Ogbese with the intention of selling it.

The command urged members of the public who may have lost a motorcycle to visit the Ogbese Division with valid ownership documents for possible identification and recovery.

It reiterated its commitment to ensuring that anyone involved in criminal activities in Ondo State will be apprehended, regardless of where they flee.
