President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Senator Magnus Ngei Abe as he marks his 60th birthday on May 24, 2025, describing him as a committed patriot and political ally.

In a statement released on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commended Abe’s enduring service to Nigeria, particularly his dedication to peace and unity in Rivers State and the wider Niger Delta region.

Senator Abe, a lawyer and seasoned politician, was first elected to the Senate in 2011 and won a second term in a 2016 rerun election. He previously served as Commissioner for Information and Secretary to the State Government in Rivers State between 2003 and 2007.

The President praised Abe for his contributions to national development and his ongoing partnership in advancing the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He described Abe as a “political ally who continues to work toward a stronger, economically viable, and more united Nigeria.”

As the former senator celebrates this milestone birthday, President Tinubu wished him continued success and many more years of meaningful impact.
