President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences to Senator Smart Adeyemi following the death of his mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi (née Ibilola).
In a statement released on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late Princess Adeyemi as a respected matriarch and community leader known for her humility, kindness, and peaceful nature.
He noted that her legacy remains strong, particularly in the Iyara community of Kogi State and in Niger State, where she spent 45 years raising her six children before relocating to Abuja.
President Tinubu prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to comfort the Adeyemi family and all those affected by the loss.
He urged them to draw strength from the remarkable life she lived, marked by service and strong moral character.
