President Tinubu returns to Abuja after Benue visit

President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Wednesday evening following a working visit to Benue State.
He was received at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by senior government officials and presidential aides.
During his visit to Benue, the President directed security chiefs to intensify efforts in tracking down and prosecuting those responsible for the recent killings in the state.
Expressing displeasure over the continued attacks and the lack of arrests, Tinubu questioned the effectiveness of the current security response. “How come no arrest has been made? I expect there should be arrests of those criminals,” he stated.
