President Tinubu signs N28.7tn 2024 appropriation bill into law
President Bola Tinubu has signed the 2024 appropriation bill on Monday at the presidential villa in Abuja.
WesternPost reports that the senate on Saturday approved the 2024 appropriations bill on Saturday, raising the amount from N27.5 trillion—the amount President Bola Tinubu had suggested—to N28.7 trillion.
The bill was passed after Solomon Olamilekan, the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, presented a report for consideration during the third reading.
