President Tinubu suspends NSIPA National Coordinator, Halima Shehu

The National Coordinator and CEO of the National Social Investment Program Agency, Ms.  Halima Shehu, has been suspended with immediate effect by President Bola Tinubu.

According to Channels TV, Shehu was suspended on Tuesday over alleged financial malfeasance, with the president also directing an investigation.

The President also appointed the National N-POWER Program Manager, Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo, in acting capacity as NC/CEO pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Shehu was confirmed as the National Coordinator of NSIPA by the Senate on October 18.
