Nigerian actress Rahama Sadau has condemned the recent mob killing of Northerners in Edo State.
The actress and reality show star expressed her displeasure over the incident in a post on X.
The Kannywood star stated that she couldn’t bring herself to watch the full video, questioning the lack of humanity.
She further questioned where the authorities were while the incident occurred, also calling for justice for the victims.
“I AM ANGRY. I couldn’t bring myself to watch the full video of the massacre in Edo State… Allah ya isa!!! Allah ya isa!!! Allah ya isa!!! What have we become as humans, please?
“Wallahi zuciyata zafi takeyi… where were the authorities when that happened? I’m sure it took them time to carry out such a brutal act. Justice must be served!!” she wrote.
On Thursday, March 27, 16 Northerners were traveling in a truck to Kano for the Eid al-Fitr celebration.
The truck was intercepted by a vigilante group in the Uromi area of Edo State, who found some of the passengers in possession of locally made dane guns. They were killed.
