Rave singer Mukaila Senwele is dead

Popular Ilorin-born musician and comedian, Alhaji Mukaila Senwele, has passed away.
The news of his death was announced by one of his close friends, Alhaji Omotosho Owofitimi, in a social media post. He wrote: “R.I.P, my friend Mukaila Senwele.”
The cause of his death could not be determined at the time of filing this report.
Family sources revealed that the singer showed no signs of illness prior to his sudden demise. He reportedly spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house, Ile Esinrogunjo, later that evening.
Family members said they later received an urgent call from the people he was living with. His older brother and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but he passed away before arriving.
Entertainment practitioners have taken to social media to express their grief over Mukaila’s death.
He will be buried this morning in accordance with Islamic rites.
Mukaila Senwele rose to fame after a video of him singing while selling his wares went viral. He later pursued music professionally and began performing at events by invitation.
