Regina Daniels accuses Ned Nwoko of domestic violence months after separation rumors

Barely seven months after Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko denied rumors of separation from his wife, actress Regina Daniels, the couple are back in the news.

In March 2025, Ned denied any trouble in their marriage while announcing they were expecting their third child.

However, recent revelations by Regina Daniels in a trending video suggest the marriage is experiencing serious problems.

Contrary to rumors that the issues in the high-profile marriage stem from Nwoko’s alleged infidelity, the union is now facing a severe public crisis with accusations of domestic violence.

In a viral video, Daniels is seen being consoled by friends as she makes serious allegations against her husband.

In the clip, the young actress tearfully says she can no longer endure the alleged abuse.

“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. Not again, I cannot stand the violence; it is too much,” she said.

In another twist, Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, alleged that Nwoko, a trained lawyer, sent thugs to assault both Regina and himself after a domestic altercation.

The allegations gained further traction when West took to his Instagram story to accuse Nwoko of physically assaulting his sister, then fleeing before sending thugs to harass the family.

West, a singer, also claimed this was not an isolated incident.

“Makachi, it pains me that you want to laugh at my sister. Let me repeat, anywhere a man beats a woman, whether my sister or not, I will fight with my blood,” he wrote in Pidgin English.

“Senator Ned Nwoko, you are lucky that after you beat my sister again and smashed her head on the wall, you ran away and sent thugs. I swear I will bust your jaw.”

Nwoko has yet to issue any public statement addressing the allegations.

This incident comes just weeks after the actress shared a controversial prank video on Instagram featuring her husband.

The video showed a moment of domestic intrusion as Nwoko entered the restroom, only to be met with his wife’s camera and a song playing in the background with highly contentious lyrics.

The song’s lyrics, heard in the video, included phrases such as “husband is useless. Yeye man must die, kill your husband make your life better. If you kill your husband you no go suffer and will get plenty freedom.”

The clip captured Nwoko’s visibly displeased reaction before Daniels quickly blocked the view as he began to urinate.

Nwoko and Daniels exchanged marital vows in a traditional ceremony in 2019. They have two children together, with rumors of a third on the way.
