Reinstated Osun LG chairmen visit Oyetola in show of gratitude

The reinstated local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, at his residence in Iragbiji on Easter Monday.

The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Mr. Abiodun Idowu, expressed their gratitude to the Minister for his unwavering support throughout their political journey and reinstatement.

The chairmen acknowledged the Minister’s key role in advocating for grassroots leadership and commended his commitment to strengthening local governance.

In his remarks, Oyetola, who described the visit as a symbolic and meaningful gesture, reiterated his dedication to supporting inclusive governance and democratic principles that drive progress across Osun State.

He said, “This visit was both symbolic and meaningful. It reaffirmed the strength of our connection to grassroots leadership and our shared commitment to the progress of Osun State.

“I remain steadfast in my belief that true development begins at the local level, and I will continue to support efforts that promote inclusive governance and democratic values.”
