By Tosin Omojola –

Remo Stars SC of Ikenne on Friday completed the demolition of US Zilimadjou of Comoros with a 1-0 victory in the second leg of their CAF Champions League match.

The win at the MKO Abiola Stadium sealed a 5-0 aggregate triumph for the Sky Blue Stars, who had won the first leg played on the same turf 4-0.

Alex Oyowah struck from the spot in the 73rd minute to ensure coach Daniel Ogunmodede’s lads scaled effortlessly through to the next round of the competition.

The Nigerian champions have thus set up a titanic clash with South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ogunmodede had said after the first-leg triumph that his side was not afraid of Sundowns, stressing that he already looked forward to a face-off with the South African side.

Meanwhile, three other Nigerian clubs will be in action on Sunday as they take on their opponents in second-leg matches.

Abia Warriors will be away to Djoliba in Bamako, Rivers United will play host to Les Aigles du Congo in Uyo, while Kwara United will entertain Ashanti Kotoko of Ghana in Abeokuta.
