Sadio Mane sends Senegal through to AFCON final

Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane scored the decisive goal as the Teranga Lions of Senegal beat the Pharaohs of Egypt 1–0 to book their place in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) ongoing in Morocco.
The first semi-final encounter, played at the Grand Stade de Tangier, saw both sides give their all in a bid to secure victory.
The two teams were unable to find the back of the net in the first half, thus retiring to the locker room goalless.
The second half was also fiercely contested, with both gladiators pushing hard for the opener.
It was the Lions who finally found the breakthrough in the 78th minute through Mane.
That solitary strike proved decisive as the West Africans held their nerve to thwart all attempts by the North Africans to level the score until the end of the pulsating duel.
