Saki West Chairman sacks Council Secretary in administrative shake-up

The Political Head of Asabari Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and Secretary to Saki West Local Government, Hon. Kolade Felix Ojo, has been relieved of his duties.

The development was confirmed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Gbenga Akinola.

The statement emphasized that the decision was part of ongoing efforts to reposition the Local Government for greater efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.

According to the statement, “The Executive Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Akinola, has approved the relief of the Secretary of the Local Government, Hon. Kolade Felix Ojo, from his post, with immediate effect.”

Akinola noted that the dismissal is intended to strengthen the administration and ensure the Local Government operates effectively for the benefit of its residents.

He described the action as part of broader measures to enhance governance and transparency in Saki West.

“The Chairman appreciates the services rendered by the former Secretary and wishes him well in his future endeavours,” the statement added.

It added “Further directives regarding the administration of the Local Government will be communicated in due course.”
