SDP woos Oyo APC guber aspirant, Saheed Oladele

Leaders of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Oyo State have indicated their interest to win over the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Saheed Oladele.

Their intention was made public during a visit by the party’s delegation, to Oladele in a move seen as part of ongoing political consultations ahead of future elections in the state.

The delegation comprised chairmen and apex leaders from 26 Local Government Areas of the state, including the party’s state executive committee, alongside the overall leader of the 10 Local Government Areas in the Oke Ogun zone, Ibrahim Durojaiye.

Speaking during the visit, the Oyo State Chairman of the SDP, Michael Okunlola, said Oladele possesses the qualities required to emerge as the next governor of Oyo State and is ready to support his candidacy.

He further added that the SDP offers a platform for transformative leadership, centered on the core needs of the people of Oyo State.
