Soludo celebrates Anambra teachers, assures of better condition of service

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo on Wednesday in Awka celebrated teachers in the state on World Teachers’ Day describing himself as one of them.

The governor was at Teachers House in the state capital and said he could not imagine a world without teachers and the important role they play in the society.

The governor wrote on his social media pages: “For a moment, imagine the world without Teachers. I am proudly a Teacher, one who is even more proud of his own Teachers. Teachers are the Greatest!

“It was home-coming for me today as I joined my fellow Teachers in marking world Teachers’ day, at the Teachers’ House, Awka.

“As Teachers, we owe Society principled and value-oriented individuals. When we recognize that this duty is divine and noble, we would commit more of ourselves to it daily. We look forward to greater fulfillment as our products bear testimonies of our selfless effort.

“To all Teachers, you make the world go round. You are the moulders of destinies and greatest influencers of humanity. We must seize the opportunity of today’s celebration to reflect on our roles as Formators.”
