Soludo celebrates Obi of Onitsha, Alfred Achebe on 81st birthday
Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo has celebrated the Obi of Onitsha Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe who clocked 81 on Saturday.
Obi in a message on his Facebook page said the state was proud of the revered monarch’s achievements.
“Today, I celebrate the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, mni CFR (Agbogidi) on his 81st birthday anniversary.
“The government and people of Anambra State are proud of your examplary life and outstanding leadership as Chairman of Anambra State Council of Traditional Rulers and the Southeast Council of Traditional Rulers.
“Your wise counsel and contributions have been of immense value to the growth and development of Anambra State in particular, Southeast and the Country at large.
“As a respected royal father, a worthy son of Anambra State and an elder statesman, your fatherly disposition to issues of peace and security in the state and the well-being of the people have continued to earn you the highest respect in the land.
“Agbogidi, as you mark this 81st birthday anniversary, I join millions of Ndigbo and well-wishers home and abroad in celebration, and wish you many more years of good health, wisdom and selfless service to God and humanity,” he wrote.
