Soludo hails Tinubu’s historic visit to Anambra

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has described President Bola Tinubu’s visit to the state as “historic and consequential,” noting it is the first time in over a decade that a Nigerian president has visited Anambra for major project commissioning.

Speaking on Thursday during Tinubu’s working visit, Soludo recalled that the last such presidential visit was in 2012, when then-President Goodluck Jonathan inaugurated a brewery project initiated by former Governor Peter Obi.

“Your visit to Anambra is historic and consequential,” Soludo said. “The last time a president visited for a commissioning was in 2012 for a brewery. But today, the president is here to commission roads spanning several kilometers, flyovers, a government house, and more.”

President Tinubu commissioned several landmark projects across the state, marking a significant boost to infrastructure and development under Soludo’s administration.
