Soun announces free healthcare outreach for Ogbomoso residents

The paramount ruler of Ogbomoso, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, has announced a free medical intervention for residents of Ogbomoso.
The monarch disclosed this via a statement on his official social media handle on Monday, emphasizing that the initiative aims to provide free and quality healthcare to the people.
According to him, the outreach will offer services such as free medical checkups, health consultations, eye tests with free glasses, and basic treatment and management of diabetes and hypertension.
The healthcare outreach is scheduled to take place from March 29 to 30, 2025, at the Soun Palace, Oja-Igbo, Ogbomoso.
The statement reads: “My good people of Ogbomosoland, I am pleased to announce a two-day Medical Mission Outreach organized by the 25-Year Healthcare/Medical Committee in partnership with Mercy Said No Mission Outreach.
“This initiative is dedicated to ensuring that our people have access to free, quality healthcare. Services available include free medical checkups, health consultations, eye tests with free glasses, and basic treatment and management of diabetes and hypertension.
“Venue: Soun Palace, Oja-Igbo, Ogbomoso
Date: March 29–30, 2025.”
The monarch urged residents to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity and prioritize their health.
