Soun visits Iresapa monarch, urges unity among Ogbomoso royals

The Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, on Friday paid an unscheduled visit to the Palace of the Iresapa monarch, Oba Moses Olayiwola Ajiboye, in Surulere Local Government Area, as part of his efforts to strengthen unity and mutual respect among traditional institutions in Ogbomosoland.
The visit followed his earlier engagement at Ayede Polytechnic.
Despite its impromptu nature, the Soun described the reception as warm and impactful.
“Kabiyesi welcomed us with such grace and warmth—an honour I deeply cherish. Our interaction was brief but enriching,” he said.
The Soun added that he looks forward to a more formal visit in the near future, reaffirming his commitment to fostering unity and cooperation among Ogbomoso’s royal houses.
