Support Tinubu for sustained growth, Obasa tells Nigerians

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has lauded Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as steadfast and impactful leadership under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Obasa spoke on Tuesday while chairing the 20th Annual Ramadan Lecture hosted by Hon. Nurein Akinsanya, the lawmaker representing Mushin Constituency I in the House of Assembly.

“Leadership is about service, vision and responsibility to the people,” Obasa told the gathering, noting that the Tinubu administration has taken steps to stabilise the economy, strengthen democratic institutions and improve governance.

He cited initiatives in the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors as signs of progress, maintaining that the President’s policies align with Islamic values of justice, equity and accountability.

“President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is laying a solid foundation for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria,” he said.

Obasa also urged Nigerians to rally behind the President in the build-up to the 2027 general election.

“We must continue to support this great leader. Our unity and commitment will ensure Nigeria remains on the path of growth and sustainable development,” he added.

The lecture, themed “Islamic Injunction and Leadership,” was held in memory of the late Moshood Akanbi Akinsanya, a prominent grassroots politician and father of Hon. Akinsanya.

The event attracted dignitaries, Islamic scholars and community leaders, serving not only as a spiritual gathering but also as a platform for civic reflection.
