Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation feeds thousands in Ilorin

Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi extended his support to his community in Ilorin on Friday, as the Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation distributed various food items to thousands of people.

The philanthropic initiative, carried out in the spirit of Ramadan and Lent, brought immense relief to beneficiaries, who were largely women and men.

Awoniyi’s foundation has been at the forefront of supporting the less privileged in Kwara State, and this latest effort further demonstrates his commitment to giving back.

The food distribution exercise received widespread praise, with beneficiaries expressing gratitude for the foundation’s generosity.

“Taiwo Awoniyi’s kindness is a blessing to us,” said Alhaja Moremi Iya Offa, one of the beneficiaries at the Kwara Stadium Complex. “We pray that God will continue to bless him.”

Suleiman Atunrase, an official of the foundation, emphasized Awoniyi’s dedication to philanthropy as a shining example of how individuals can positively impact their communities.

“As a role model to many young people, his selfless act is an inspiration for others to follow in his footsteps,” he said.

Essential food items, including rice, noodles, salt, and tomato paste, were distributed across various locations such as Tippa Garage, Tanke, Gbagba Community, George Agbazika Innih Stadium Complex, Ilorin, Taiwo Road, and Oja-Tuntun.
