Nigerian singer and music producer Tekno has firmly denied reports that he collapsed during a live performance in South Africa, dismissing the rumors as baseless.

The 31-year-old artiste addressed the allegations after a viral video surfaced online, showing a man being carried offstage by several individuals during what appeared to be a live performance. In response to the rumors, Tekno took to his Instagram page to reassure fans that he is in good health and not currently in South Africa. He clarified the situation, stating, “Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you, guys. Love you.”

To further dispel the rumors, Tekno shared footage of his recent performance in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Sunday, May 19, where he entertained a large and energetic crowd. This update underscores his well-being and ongoing commitment to his musical tour.

Fans have since expressed relief at the news, while Tekno continues to focus on his tour and upcoming projects.
