There will be no room for injustice in Lagos APC, says Ojelabi

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, has said there will be no room for injustice in the party, saying that equity and justice would be prioritised during his tenure.
Ojelabi made this assertion on Monday at the party’s secretariat at Acme, Ikeja, while addressing the 36 inaugurated state executives.
He described the executives as a rescue team that would give life to the party, saying that oppression and impartiality would no longer be the order of the day.
The party chairman charged the executives to harmonise genuinely with other members of the party in their various constituencies, saying that collective interest must be put ahead of personal interest.

“We must regard members of our party as one; we must try and work hard to bring back our glory. We must try as much as possible to reconcile and deepen our democracy. This team is saddled with the responsibility of getting back the party on track. Everyone needs to work together to regain our lost glory,” he said.
Ojelabi charged the executives to immediately commence the process of harmony and genuine reconciliation in their respective constituencies and jettison caucus politics.
In his remarks, Chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Prince Tajudeen Olusi, congratulated the executives, saying that they were saddled with huge responsibility of controlling the party’s affairs.
Olusi lamented the crisis bedeviling the party at the national level, urging the executives to use their positions to put the party in the right direction.
Also, a former chairman of the party in the state and member of the GAC, Otunba Henry Ajomale, expressed confidence in the new executives, advising them to learn the rudiments of grassroots politics for them to succeed in office.
Ajomale suggested that the state chairman should quickly organise seminar for the executives where they would be trained on how to organise party activities and grassroots mobilisation.
Some of those inaugurated are; former Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Olayinka Oladunjoye, former Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr. Seye Oladejo and former member of state House of Assembly, Hon. Sunmi Odesanya.
