Oba Olugbenle assures Ogun FRSC of support, emphasises importance of collaboration

The Olu of Ilaro and Chairman of the Ogun State Council of Obas, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, has assured the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun Command of his support, emphasizing the importance of collaboration.
Oba Olugbenle gave this assurance when he received the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State, Akinwunmi Fasakin, on a courtesy visit.
A statement by the Media Aide to the Monarch, Deola Adeyemi, said the meeting focused on road safety, traffic management, and the Corps’ commitment to ensuring safer roads within the region and Ogun State at large.

Fasakin, who assumed office in August 2024, sought the Monarch’s royal blessings, expressing his desire to strengthen the partnership between the Corps and the Paramountcy.
He also solicited assistance in securing an office for the Corps.
Meanwhile, in a demonstration of his commitment to fostering dialogue with the youth constituency, Oba Olugbenle hosted the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogun West Senatorial District, led by Comr. Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo.

The Council highlighted its activities and appreciated the Paramount Ruler for being a uniting figure in Yewaland.
Oba Olugbenle also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for initiating the National Youth Conference, which places a spotlight on Nigerian youths.
