Three Nigerians elected into African Weightlifting Federation board

President of the Nigeria Weightlifting Federation (NWF), Dr. Abdul A. Ibrahim, and two other Nigerians were on Tuesday elected into the board of the Weightlifting Federation of Africa (WFA).
The election took place in Moka, Mauritius, during the ongoing African Weightlifting Championship.
Dr. Ibrahim was elected Chairman of the WFA Marketing Commission, marking a significant recognition for Nigeria’s weightlifting leadership.
Former NWF president, Chimdi Ejiogu, also retained his position as Vice President of the WFA, following his successful re-election.
In addition, Lawrence Iquaibom was elected as a member of the WFA Technical Committee.
The election of the trio brings the total number of Nigerians on the WFA board to three, reinforcing the country’s growing influence in African weightlifting.
