Tinubu assures better economic strides, opportunities for Nigerians

President Bola Tinubu has expressed optimism that the current economic hardship faced by Nigerians will soon be a thing of the past.
Acknowledging the economic challenges in the country caused by the removal of petroleum subsidy, the President also assured the public that he and his economic team are working tirelessly to improve the economy and create more opportunities for Nigerians to thrive.
President Tinubu made these statements during a reception held in his honour by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos House in Marina, Lagos State on Wednesday.
The President also urged all state governments and citizens to work together to address poverty and terrorism in the country, emphasizing that collaboration is key to achieving a better society.
The president further charged all local governments to build more schools and ensure maximum enrollment of children in the schools to further help curb idleness as more jobs would be created.
He also assured traditional rulers that culture and traditions will not be abandoned but all included in the fight against poverty in the land.
President Tinubu however commended Governor Sanwo-Olu and his deputy for holding forth the affairs of Lagos State and making it remain the way center of excellence.
The president however gave brief remarks on the death of Governors Rotimi Akeredolu who until his death at early hours of of today battled with his Leukemia cancer.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in his remarks, further called for minute silence to be observed in honor of the late ondo state governor.
The Lagos state governor however praised the president that Nigerians are proud of his policies and decisions to change the economic situation of the country.
Sanwo-Olu added that there can not be a better time of to celebrate the President than now with his presence in Lagos.
Speaker, State House of Representatives Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa who also commended the President for his leadership and exemplary roles urged the president president to look into the implementation of legislative independence independence independence, just as the Association of Local Government of Nigeria called on the President to put in place community policy for effective tackling of the security challenges in the country.
