Pesident Bola Tinubu, in a bid to instill optimism in the nation’s economic outlook, has projected a forthcoming bounce-back in the economy.
This assertion was made during a gathering in Lagos where he emphasized the need for unity and collaboration among stakeholders for national development.
Addressing a delegation including state governors and members of the National Assembly, Tinubu underscored the pivotal role of collective efforts in propelling Nigeria forward.
The President further expressed confidence in the nation’s economic resurgence, urging solidarity to steer the country toward prosperity under his leadership.
“Let us unite, rally around our leader, and catapult this nation to a greater pedestal. By December, I hope we will have cause to celebrate. Let us coalesce to take the nation to a greater pedestal,” he said.

The event, marked by the presence of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq among others, showcased Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive leadership transcending ethnic and religious divides.
Echoing the sentiment, Vice President Kashim Shettima highlighted the significance of Nigeria’s role in shaping the destiny of the nation.
”The future of the black man rests on Nigeria to make or mar. Our economy has turned the corner. By the coming months, the economy will roar back to glory,” the Vice-President stated in part.
In response, Senate President Akpabio lauded Tinubu’s leadership approach and rallied support from fellow governors, affirming their backing for the President’s initiatives.
Governor AbdulRazaq, in particular, commended Tinubu’s efforts in stabilizing the economy and improving living standards, while also pledging continued support for federal initiatives aimed at driving progress nationwide.
He also singled out for praise, the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, describing it as a huge project with the potential of a positive impact on the nation’s economy upon completion.
