Tinubu assures Nigerians of victory against banditry, terrorism

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians of his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across the country, promising increased investment to defeat banditry and terrorism.
The President gave the assurance on Saturday during the commissioning of key projects at the Gateway International Airport in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, alongside Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Speaking on the security situation, Tinubu said the government remains determined to protect lives and property through continuous investment in security infrastructure and operational support.
“The development of additional vehicles strengthens our resolve to protect lives and property,” the President said.
He further assured Nigerians that his administration would not relent in the fight against insecurity.
“We will win over banditry and terrorism. I give that assurance that we will invest more,” Tinubu stated.
Tinubu also linked security improvements to broader development efforts, noting that stability remains critical for economic growth and national progress.
The President expressed optimism about the role of young Nigerians in supporting national development, describing them as committed and talented.
