Tinubu celebrates Minister of Blue Economy, Oyetola, as he clocks 70

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Adegboyega Oyetola, former Osun State governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, on his 70th birthday.
In a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information and Strategy), on Tuesday, President Tinubu also recognized Oyetola’s contributions to the impressive growth in the state’s internally generated revenue, prioritization of workers’ and pensioners’ welfare, and efforts to develop the mining sector to attract investors.
The President applauded his long-term ally for being a consistent progressive with a proven record of accomplishment, including a commitment to fiscal discipline and excellence.
He recalled that during Oyetola’s tenure as governor of Osun State, he recorded significant achievements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
President Tinubu further expressed unwavering confidence in the former governor’s leadership qualities, which earned him the opportunity to serve as the pioneer head of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.
Asserting that Oyetola’s passion for development will continue to drive his contributions to the nation, President Tinubu prayed for continued strength and wisdom for the celebrant and wished him many more years filled with opportunities for further growth and development.
