By Kunle Sanni –
President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, over the passing of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda, who died on Sunday morning at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital, aged 83.
In a condolence message issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the late matriarch as “a woman of virtue who lived a life dedicated to faith, service, and uplifting her community.”
President Tinubu urged Prof. Yilwatda to accept the loss as the will of Almighty God and take solace in the purposeful life his mother lived.
He prayed for the repose of Mama Yilwatda’s soul and asked God to grant the APC chairman, his family, and the entire Yilwatda household the strength to bear the loss.
