Tinubu embarks on three-day state visit to France

President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for a three-day state visit to France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
The president left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to a statement released on Tuesday evening by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties in key areas such as agriculture, security, education, health, youth empowerment, innovation, and energy transition.
President Tinubu, accompanied by a high-level delegation, is expected to engage in discussions focused on advancing Nigeria’s global partnerships and fostering international cooperation.
The visit will also deepen political and economic relations between Nigeria and France, underscoring the administration’s commitment to sustainable development and global collaboration.
Upon arrival in Paris, President Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu will be received at the historic Les Invalides military museum and later at the Élysée Palace by President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron.
