Tinubu focused on governance, critics should wait for 2027 – Sunday Dare

By Kunle Sanni

Sunday Dare, Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications to President Bola Tinubu, has reaffirmed that the President remains fully committed to providing leadership that will reshape Nigeria.

In a post on X, Dare addressed recent criticisms of the Tinubu administration, accusing political opponents of attempting to stir controversy while the President was away in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, seeking solutions to Nigeria’s energy challenges.

“While President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in faraway Dar es Salaam, working on solutions to Nigeria’s energy problems, some ‘wannabes’ were busy convening gatherings aimed at spreading ill-will. Nothing new came out of it—just the same opposition script we are used to,” Dare wrote.

He urged Nigerians to scrutinize these political actors, stating that the stage is being set for 2027, but until then, Tinubu will not be distracted by political noise.

Dare further called on critics of the administration to wait until the 2027 general elections instead of engaging in what he described as “political heckling.”

“This is 2025, not 2027. Those who want to test their popularity with Nigerians should wait for the next election. President Tinubu remains undistracted and unperturbed,” he stated.
