Tinubu hails Shagaya, Governor Inuwa for exemplary leadership on birthdays

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to business mogul Hajiya Bola Shagaya and Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State on the occasion of their birthdays.
In separate messages issued on Wednesday, October 9, 2025, the President praised both celebrants for their outstanding contributions to national development and service to humanity.
President Tinubu lauded Hajiya Bola Shagaya, who turned 66, as a distinguished Nigerian whose vision, enterprise, and leadership have advanced the private sector and contributed immensely to national growth. He also commended her commitment to philanthropy and women’s empowerment, describing her as an inspiration to a new generation of Nigerians.
Similarly, the President congratulated Governor Inuwa Yahaya, acknowledging his achievements in governance since assuming office in 2019. President Tinubu highlighted the governor’s strides in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, noting the construction and renovation of 600 classrooms, the upgrade of five legacy secondary schools, and the establishment of fully functional primary healthcare centres in all 114 wards of the state.
He also praised the Go-Health project, which provides healthcare for vulnerable populations, describing it as a reflection of the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at improving citizens’ welfare across Nigeria.
President Tinubu wished both Hajiya Shagaya and Governor Yahaya good health, strength, and continued success in their respective endeavours.
