Tinubu holds closed-door meeting with Speaker Abbas, other Reps members in Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu on Friday held a closed-door meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and several lawmakers at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The discussions took place shortly after the lawmakers joined the President for Jummah prayers at the State House Mosque.

Abbas arrived at the Villa with other lawmakers, including the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Kumo, who represents Akko Federal Constituency of Gombe State under the All Progressives Congress.

The meeting comes less than 48 hours after Senate President Godswill Akpabio led members of the Senate leadership to a separate closed-door session with Tinubu at the Villa on Wednesday evening.
