Tinubu inaugurates planning committee for National Youth Conference

President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the planning committee for the National Youth Conference, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to youth development and inclusion in policymaking.
The inauguration took place at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Tinubu emphasized that all his decisions have been in the interest of young Nigerians, highlighting their role in shaping the nation’s future.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Youth Ayodele Olawande stressed the importance of the conference, noting that it would provide a platform for young people to contribute to policies that will influence Nigeria’s development.
Samson Itodo, the Executive Director of YIAGA Africa, welcomed the initiative, expressing appreciation for the recognition of young people as key stakeholders in national governance.
Earlier this year, President Tinubu unveiled plans for a national youth conference scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
