Tinubu meets global investors in Paris, promises policy stability

President Bola Tinubu has engaged global investors in Paris, France, outlining his administration’s economic reforms and commitment to transparency and fiscal discipline.

At the meeting with top investment firms, Tinubu said his government’s reform programme is focused on removing economic distortions and stabilising key macroeconomic indicators to drive long-term growth.

“The focus remains on policy stability and diligent execution to ensure these strategic shifts translate into concrete benefits for all Nigerians,” the president said in a statement by his spokesperson Bayo Onanuga on Tuesday.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, told investors that the country recorded 11.2 per cent GDP growth in dollar terms in 2025, describing it as a strong signal of economic recovery.

He said the performance supports Nigeria’s ambition of building a $1 trillion economy by 2030, adding that the government is prioritising the translation of reforms into tangible benefits for citizens.
